So easy to make & tastes so much better than store bought! Love adding this to cold brew, smoothies, oats, etc!
-1 cup cashews (soaked in water for at least 2 hours or overnight)
-4 cups filtered water
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-dash of sea salt
-optional add in’s: 1-2 tbsp sweetener (honey or maple syrup), lots of cinnamon
Once cashews are soaked, strain and add to your blender with the filtered water. Blend on high for a couple minutes until fully incorporated. Strain milk through your nut milk bag (I use Ellie’s Best, you can use code lex10 for 10% off on your order). Once you strain into a bowl, add the milk back into the blender with your vanilla extract, sea salt, and any other ingredients you want to add! Blend it up and pour it into a jar! Store in fridge for about a week. Make sure to shake up before using!
