Banana bread is one of my favorite things in the world. I could probably live off of it. That’s a little extreme, but I mean it. I’ve officially created my favorite recipe yet, and it will probably be the only one I’ll make again. I’ve been trying to figure out my go-to recipe for YEARS & I’ve finally got it! Ingredients:
-1/2 cup butter, room temperature
-1 cup cane sugar
-2 eggs, room temperature
-3 ripe bananas, mashed
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
-1 tsp baking soda
-1 tsp cinnamon
-1/2 tsp sea salt
-3/4 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8×5 loaf pan with oil. Using an electric mixer, combine butter & sugar. Add in mashed banana, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until combined. Sift in flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and sea salt. Mix until incorporated, but don’t over mix. add in chocolate chips & fold in with wooden spoon.
Pour banana bread mixture into your loaf pan. Top with extra chocolate chips. Bake for 55 min. Around 35 min, check bread & cover with foil so doesn’t get too browned. Let cool, & ENJOY THAT GOODNESS!
