One of my favorite easy make ahead breakfasts for the week! Mornings are made SO MUCH easier when breakfast is already prepped! Plus I don’t have to make another decision which is definitely ideal 🙂 Tastes like apple pie, especially with the sautéed apples, and it’s such a treat! Enjoy!
Ingredients:
For the base:
-1/2 cup rolled oats
-1/2 cup milk of choice (i used 2% from The Neighborhood Harvest, you can use the code RADIANCE to waive the entire one time $30 sign up fee)
-1/3 cup plain greek yogurt
-1 tbsp maple syrup
-1 tsp chia seeds
-1/2 tsp apple pie spice (or cinnamon)
-pinch of sea salt
For the sautéed apples:
-1 apple of choice (i used a gold rush apple from The Neighborhood Harvest)
-2 tsp coconut oil
-1 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
Add all the ingredients to a jar or container and mix until well combined! Store in the fridge overnight (or at a minimum of 2 hrs), and pull it out in the morning and top with the goods!
In a small saucepan, heat coconut oil. Add in chopped apple and cinnamon. cook until desired softness. Sprinkle some on top of the oatmeal! Drizzle some peanut butter and enjoy!
